Still got to cut out the hole for the bumper bolt and repair the tail panel. A patch panel for the tail panel is on the way along with all the other sheet metal.

Spring perch reinforcing plate in place. I need to dill holes to plug weld it in and weld the bushing holder to the plate. I think i will paint the whole thing (both sides first). Then clean the weld areas and paint the welds too.

Chassis Repair Another shot of the spring perch and reinforcing plate. A little more grinding and it will look like it was never rotten.

I left a clearence slot at the tail panel so the dirt, water, and other stuff can find it's way out. There was no clearence before and I assume the years of trapped debris rotted the chassis away. Well with this new clearence slot should prevent future rot.
